It’s Heart Time!!

 Had supper with some friends tonight, the husband suffered a tear in his aortic value last fall and almost died.  To hear him tell his story, I was struck by the fact that he now feels a new lease on life and a different perspective of life and relationships.  He loves to tell his story because he wants everyone to get the same thing he has - a joy for life that doesn’t need to be delayed it needs to start today,.

To hear his laughter and see his smile makes a person want to have that same feeling each and every moment of the day!  His was a physical heart change, but it was also a spiritual heart change.  In this season of life why are we focused on so many things out of our control and not on the one relationship that can give us that spiritual heart change, God!  Something my friend said was “that he was to focused on researching about God instead of focusing on the relationship with God.”  We are to Love God and Love Others, why do we forget that too easily?  

Insight for the day: Love God and be loved by God and then open your arms and love those around you!
