Ripples!!!

 A few weeks ago I was listening to a podcast where the guest was the founder of a letter writing organization, but these letters are not just simple letters, the letters written are to those who need encouragement and were nominated by someone. The world needs more love letters! Yes, these letters can make an amazing impact on the recipient, and I want to be able to encourage someone through writing letters to these individuals needing encouragement.  

As I have been thinking about and going to their website and reading some of the stories, I am struck by the power of words.  Our words have the power to lift up, comfort, encourage and show love to someone, but on the other side of words is the power to tear down, discourage and leave pain to someone.  

These are the Ripples of words!   

Insight for today: What are the words I am using today?  It is a choice, I must not forget that! I can choose each day and in each interaction with someone to make the decision to give positive ripples with my words.
