Are you watching me?
I have a picture of my daughter when she was little all dressed up in a cute dress she found in her room and some of my high heels she found and was wearing them as she was on the phone talking. Not sure who she was talking to, but I can’t help but think she was copying her mother in the moment that I captured on film.
They say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, but I also see it as a true reflection of what that other person sees or experiences from us.
I wish I could say everything my children saw from me as they were growing up were good examples of how they should live, but I know that wasn’t always the truth.
Others watch how we interact with people, handle difficult situations, our willingness to own our mistakes and help others around us.
Are you watching me?
I want to be an example of someone who is consistently trying to grow each and every day! I will let you down if you are watching me, because I am human, but that doesn’t mean I want to let you down!
Insight for today: Make an effort every day to grow into the person I was created to be!
